Job summary

JD Gyms in the UK is seeking a dedicated cleaner to help uphold our high cleanliness standards across the club. You will perform daily cleaning, safety checks and ensure the facility looks and feels welcoming for members and staff.

You'll maintain uniform standards, support health and safety policies, and contribute to a positive member experience through friendly, professional interactions. Prior experience in cleaning or leisure environments is helpful, and strong teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive work approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
