Job summary

PureGym Ltd. is seeking a General Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming gym environment. You will support daily operations, ensuring high standards across equipment, facilities and common areas, while delivering excellent member service and safety compliance.

You will work as part of the Gym Operations team, respond to member feedback, perform regular cleanliness checks and assist with restocking and safety procedures to uphold PureGym values.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and sanitise gym equipment, facilities and high-touch surfaces to maintain standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and perform general housekeeping tasks throughout the gym.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, showers and changing areas.
• Dust and wipe surfaces to create a tidy and welcoming environment for members.
• Remove litter and keep member-facing spaces presentable and hazard-free.
• Conduct gym standards checks and record results per procedures.
• Restock cleaning stations, washroom consumables and gym supplies.
• Follow cleaning, health and safety and COSHH procedures to ensure safety.
• Assist members by responding to feedback on cleanliness and facilities.
• Maintain brand standards, ensuring the club is safe, compliant and welcoming.
• Carry out regular gym resets to keep floors tidy and safe.
