Job summary

PureGym Ltd. is seeking a dedicated cleaner to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety and presentation across the gym in Ashington. The role focuses on creating a welcoming environment and delivering an excellent member experience with proactive, friendly service.

You will regularly clean equipment, facilities and high-touch areas, restock supplies and support health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and tidy club for members and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and sanitise gym equipment, facilities and high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and general housekeeping.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, showers, changing areas and team spaces.
• Dust and maintain surfaces to keep the club welcoming for members and visitors.
• Remove litter and ensure member-facing areas are presentable and safe.
• Carry out gym standards checks and record results as required.
• Restock cleaning stations and consumables to maintain supplies.
• Follow health and safety COSHH procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Support members by responding to feedback and delivering good service.
• Keep the club’s brand standards and ensure a safe, compliant environment.
• Carry out regular gym resets to keep floors tidy and ready for use.
