Job summary

Premier Inn in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in and serve breakfast or dinner. You’ll help solve guest questions and ensure the hotel areas are clean and welcoming.

There’s no requirement for prior hotel experience. You’ll join a busy, friendly team with guaranteed hours and a permanent contract, plus extensive staff benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; suitable for candidates from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure or customer service.
• Friendly and able to stay calm when it’s busy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure
