Job summary

Whitbread's Carlisle Central Premier Inn is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to join our team. You’ll be the first and last point of contact for guests, welcoming them, helping with check-in, and ensuring a smooth stay.

Working 30 hours per week on a permanent contract, you will join a friendly hotel team, handle breakfast and evening service, answer guest questions, and keep public areas tidy and welcoming.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required.
• Friendly, enjoys helping people and stays calm when busy.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and during busy guest periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in.
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving drinks.
• Answer questions and help solve problems for guests.
• Keep reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best.
• Support teammates across the hotel during busy periods.
• Ensure guests feel looked after from arrival to departure.
