Job summary

TGI Fridays UK is seeking a Deputy General Manager in Greater London to lead service excellence and guest satisfaction on a 48-hour contract. You will work with the General Manager to drive the Fridays guest journey, real food, and real vibes, delivering memorable experiences every shift.

You will coach teams, manage operations, budgets and compliance, and champion a guest-obsessed culture, aiming to grow sales and create a market-leading restaurant experience across our venues.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a similar role with a proven track record of leading and delivering.
• Ability to deliver a guest-obsessed culture.
• Restaurant/hospitality experience.
• Proven track record of leading teams to success.
• Strong financial skills; capable of audits and due diligence.
• Ability to manage budgets, labour controls and forecasting.
• Strong commercial acumen to drive sales and business results.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick thinking.
• Great communication to lead and inspire a team and delight guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire store team through TGI Fridays values.
• Oversee store operations: People, Guest, Sales, Profit, Operations, Health & Safety and Property.
• Ensure standards and restaurant performance deliver targets.
• Create an environment where teams and guests feel valued and celebrated.
• Lead by example as a cultural ambassador for TGI Fridays.
• Prepare for the next generation of Deputy General Managers.
