Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join a friendly team in Glasgow. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests while upselling where possible and maintaining high standards in the bar and restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Have good knowledge of food and wine and be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous, and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue where possible.
• Perform general cleaning of bar and restaurant and serve guests.
