Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in London. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to develop essential hospitality skills while meeting experienced staff who can support your growth.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests, greet regulars by name, and upsell where appropriate. Flexibility for mornings, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings & weekends).
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine; be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
