Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group seeks a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join our hotel team. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to learn essential skills and grow within the company.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will provide courteous service in the restaurant and bar, upsell where appropriate, and contribute to a teamwork-driven guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
