Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to deliver friendly, professional service in our restaurant and bar. You will upsell and engage with guests, providing knowledge of food and wine while maintaining high standards in a busy hotel setting.

Training through the Dalata Academy supports career growth, and a friendly team environment encourages development and internal opportunities. Flexibility for mornings/evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
