Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group invites applications for a Part Time Food & Beverage Assistant in Leeds. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to build essential service skills and product knowledge.

You will join a friendly team and have future opportunities as you grow within the organisation. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will greet guests by name, know wine and food basics, and upsell where possible while keeping a clean, welcoming

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings/weekends).
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are greeted by name and well looked after.
• Be knowledgeable about food and wine; make recommendations.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, professional demeanour.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
