Job summary

National Trust at Nostell Priory, Wakefield, is seeking Welcome and Service Team Members to provide a warm welcome and essential visitor information. You will help with parking, payments and directing guests in a busy, outdoor setting.

Shifts are 4–6.5 hours, weekends and holidays included, for a 12-month term. The role emphasises excellent service, teamwork, and a friendly, proactive approach to guests.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with a commitment to great service.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Well organized and adaptable to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn about different site areas to confidently share information with visitors.
• Support car park operations: greet visitors, assist with parking, process payments and provide directions.
• Use tills, handheld card scanners, car park payment machines and National Trust IT systems.
