Job summary

Generator London is seeking a proactive shift supervisor to unite our teams and ensure guests feel welcome, connected and at home. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll lead the shift across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Security to keep the operation running smoothly.

You’ll own guest concerns with empathy, carry through on commitments and provide clear handovers so nothing gets missed, while maintaining safety standards and carrying out regular property

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team or leading shifts in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with cross-department coordination.
• Familiarity with operational systems and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work rota-based shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Host guests: be a visible, approachable presence throughout the property.
• Lead the shift with Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Security to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Take ownership of guest concerns with empathy and follow through on commitments.
• Carry out regular property checks, respond to incidents, and uphold safety procedures.
