Job summary

Generator London is seeking a hands-on Front of House supervisor to lead shifts, support teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Security, and ensure every guest feels welcome and well looked after.

You’ll supervise a busy property, resolve guest concerns with empathy, and ensure smooth handovers between teams, while upholding high standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team or leading shifts in a hotel, hostel or busy hospitality environment.
• Confidence handling guest feedback, resolving complaints and finding practical solutions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with operational systems and safety procedures, and confidence maintaining accurate handovers and incident records.

• Take ownership: Resolve guest concerns with empathy and sound judgement, follow through on commitments and provide clear handovers so nothing gets missed.
• Keep standards high: Carry out regular property checks, act on cleanliness and maintenance issues, and respond to incidents in line with our safety and security procedures.

Job description

Be at the heart of Generator London, bringing our teams together and helping guests feel welcome, connect and explore. Reporting directly to our Operations Manager, you’ll lead the shift across the property, support your colleagues and take ownership of making every stay a great one.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Experience supervising a team or leading shifts in a hotel, hostel or another busy hospitality environment.
• Confidence handling guest feedback, resolving complaints and finding practical solutions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with operational systems and safety procedures, and confidence maintaining accurate handovers and incident records.
• You’ll need flexibility to work rota-based shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
