Job summary

Generator London is seeking a hands-on Front of House supervisor to lead shifts, support teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Security, and ensure every guest feels welcome and well looked after.

You’ll supervise a busy property, resolve guest concerns with empathy, and ensure smooth handovers between teams, while upholding high standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team or leading shifts in a hotel, hostel or busy hospitality environment.
• Confidence handling guest feedback, resolving complaints and finding practical solutions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with operational systems and safety procedures, and confidence maintaining accurate handovers and incident records.

Responsibilities

• Host our guests: Be a visible, approachable presence throughout the property, starting conversations, sharing local recommendations and helping people feel at home.
• Lead the shift: Work with Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Security to keep the operation running smoothly, supporting colleagues wherever you’re needed.
• Take ownership: Resolve guest concerns with empathy and sound judgement, follow through on commitments and provide clear handovers so nothing gets missed.
• Keep standards high: Carry out regular property checks, act on cleanliness and maintenance issues, and respond to incidents in line with our safety and security procedures.
