Job summary

Escapade Silverstone is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations in our onsite restaurant and bar at Silverstone. You will drive guest satisfaction, oversee service quality, and help manage budgets while mentoring the team in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to deliver premium experiences, uphold brand standards, and ensure seamless guest journeys from arrival to departure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel is mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge of quality food & drink, up to date with current trends.
• Hands-on approach with a passion for service and attention to detail.
• Strong guest service style and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive and good at problem-solving.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
• Personal Alcohol Licence is preferable.
• Good command of the English language.
• Immaculate personal grooming, style and presentation.
• Competent in using IT systems (POS) and software including Microsoft Office.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager to create and implement a best-in-class guest experience.
• Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and preferences are remembered.
• Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere to create a positive guest experience.
• Coordinate daily restaurant management operations and manage all bar and restaurant systems.
• Control costs across the department and maximise efficiency against KPIs.
• Provide ongoing training to ensure the team are knowledgeable about food, beverage and service._
• Ensure food and drinks are prepared and presented to standards and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant area to meet health and safety regulations.
• Monitor ambience to align with branding and atmosphere.
• Enhance revenue through upselling, cross-selling and add-ons.
• Handle unexpected situations and provide suitable solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Liaise with departments to ensure smooth operations and guest experiences.
• Promote sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone.
