Job summary

Village seeks a Host Assistant Manager to act as the operational anchor of the lobby, linking the manager's strategy with the floor reality. You will resolve complaints, coach the team to upsell, and ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed.

You will drive the shift by balancing guest accounts, tracking budgets, and logging special requests in Opera, while fostering a culture of growth and recognition for top talent within a busy hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• The Frontline Leadership: driving an energetic welcome across the desk, resolving complaints politely and positively on the spot.
• The Commercial Drive: translating the manager's strategy into daily action and coaching the team to upsell and hit targets.
• The Systems & Control: championing the Opera system to log special requests and balance guest accounts, reviewing wage costs.
