Job summary

Motel One Group in Glasgow is seeking a guest-focused front desk colleague to welcome guests and support a smooth check-in and check-out process. You will also help review bookings, handle invoicing and payments, and manage front- and back-office tasks with a service-minded approach.

Ideal candidates have an apprenticeship in hotel trade or experience in hotel/catering, strong hosting skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in hotel trade or experience in hotel/catering
• Excellent sense of quality and service, hosting skills and passion for the hotel industry
• Be open and communicative with solid command of English
• Be a team player and willing to assist across departments

Responsibilities

• Looking after guests including check-in and check-out
• Reviewing and processing bookings, overbookings and options
• Invoicing, managing payments, and cash transactions
• Organisational and administrative tasks in front and back office
• Gaining interdepartmental insights by working in multicultural teams
