Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Floor Manager to lead a floor team and deliver exceptional food and beverage service in line with Soho House standards. You will greet guests, take orders, make recommendations and ensure smooth service on a busy floor within a member-focused environment.

You’ll train and coach staff, create efficient rotas, manage labour costs and uphold appearance and safety standards while collaborating with the General Manager and other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, able to problem solve under pressure
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional service standards by developing and refining systems for members, guests and staff
• Lead engaging training sessions on food and drink programs and initiatives
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest interactions and brand consistency
• Support recruitment by identifying talent needs and participating in interviews
• Oversee onboarding and development of new team members to keep the floor team confident and guest-focused
• Gather and act on member feedback with the Membership team to improve service and offerings
• Train staff on Soho House core values and service standards
• Oversee daily operations and complete tasks to a high standard
• Create efficient staff rotas, manage labour costs and reduce overtime
• Uphold appearance, compliance, safety and professionalism standards
