Job summary

Champneys Mottram Hall is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to deliver a warm welcome, manage check-ins/outs and handle guest inquiries with professionalism. You will be the first point of contact and play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations across the resort.

The role provides full training, with opportunities to develop in a well-established wellness brand known for world-class spa experiences and a supportive, family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest service orientation.
• Experience in hospitality is valued but training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome and efficient check-in experience.
• Manage guest check-outs, payments and accounts.
• Handle guest enquiries, resolve concerns and escalate where appropriate.
• Assist with end-of-day procedures in line with company guidelines.
• Prepare arrivals for future dates to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Operate the switchboard and transfer calls professionally.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement of reception performance and profitability.
• Complete administrative duties and attend training as required.
• Adhere to Champneys' policies, procedures and health & safety standards.
