Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is hiring a Guest Service Assistant to welcome guests and support across reception, restaurant, bar, meetings and events in our Lancaster property. You’ll get full training and the chance to start a career in hospitality with a supportive team.

You’ll build guest relationships, assist with check-in/check-out, service, and events while maintaining high standards and brand values in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.
• Proactive approach: you notice what needs doing and act.
• Comfortable using technology, including MS Office and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service across reception, restaurant, bar, meetings and events.
• Support with tasks including check in/out, food and drinks service, conference set-ups, and banqueting.
• Build genuine relationships with guests and adapt your approach to each individual.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all guest areas.
• Help the hotel meet brand standards and company goals by delivering outstanding service every shift.
• Represent our values and culture, keeping guest experience at the centre.
