Job summary

Kew Green Hotels in the United Kingdom is seeking a friendly Guest Service Assistant to welcome guests across reception, restaurant, bar, and events. You will handle check-in/out, service, and help maintain high presentation in all guest areas, working as part of a team to deliver outstanding service.

Full training is provided with career development through funded apprenticeships and our internal development programme.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for people and hospitality. Experience is great, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a team.
• A proactive approach. (You notice what needs to be done and make it happen!)
• Comfortable using technology, including MS Office and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service across reception, restaurant, bar, meetings and events.
• Support with tasks including check in/out, food and drink service, conference set-ups, and banqueting.
• Build genuine relationships with guests, adapting your approach to each individual.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all guest areas.
• Help the hotel meet brand standards and company goals by delivering outstanding service every shift.
• Represent our values and culture, keeping guest experience at the centre of everything you do., Career development through fully funded apprenticeships and our internal development programme.
