Job summary

Whitbread and Premier Inn Hereford City Centre are hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, assist with check-in, and help with breakfast and meals. The role requires 12 guaranteed hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends at a location on Blackfriars Street, Hereford (HR4 9JU).

Training and development are provided, and there are opportunities to learn across hotel teams. A friendly, proactive attitude and ability to stay calm in busy periods are valued.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; transferable from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, customer service.
• Friendly, helpful personality and ability to stay calm when busy.
• Willing to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in.
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks.
• Answer questions and help solve problems.
• Keep reception, restaurant and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Support teammates across the hotel when busy.
• Ensure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure.
