Job summary

The Best Western Plus Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa in Coventry is seeking a Restaurant Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a lively, guest-focused atmosphere.

You will support greeting, seating, order taking and serving, while staying professional, punctual and friendly towards guests and colleagues, and becoming fully conversant with the hotel's facilities and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with greeting, seating and order taking.
• Help guests with menu selection and drink requirements.
• Serve food and drinks, ensuring requests are responded to in a timely and friendly manner.
• Anticipate and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately.
• Communicate and work effectively within a team to ensure every guest leaves with the desire to return.
• Understand your areas of responsibility, ensuring everything runs effectively in line with brand specification.
• Looking professional, being punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues at all times.
• Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel.
• Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company standards.
