Job summary

Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa in Coventry is seeking a Leisure Club Assistant to deliver outstanding hospitality to guests and members. You will work as part of a close-knit team, greet guests, manage the reception, handle bookings for golf and spa, and promote club facilities and memberships with a friendly, proactive approach.

You should be self-motivated, enjoy working in a guest-facing role, and be able to multitask while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a guest facing role.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to build rapport.
• Well organised and able to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests; promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
• Ensure reception runs smoothly and guest care is a focus during shifts.
• Supervise and ensure safety of guests and members per procedures and health & safety rules.
• Maintain golf diary and input bookings promptly.
• Handle enquiries and bookings efficiently to maximise revenue.
• Keep club cleanliness in line with procedures.
• Schedule tee times for golf and spa treatments as requested.
• Take orders, dispense drinks and serve at tables when needed.
• Promote and sell golf and leisure shop merchandise.
• Sell and process club memberships and promote services.
• Encourage facility usage and achieve forecasted targets.
• Observe activities and maintain poolside cover during shifts.
