High Force Hotel & Waterfall is seeking a General Assistant to join our friendly team at the High Force Hotel in County Durham. You will welcome guests, assist at reception, and help serve in the bar and restaurant, including breakfast and dinner service and supporting seasonal events.

We value an outgoing personality, a genuine interest in looking after people, reliability and a collaborative attitude. Training and development opportunities are available within our estate.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in customer service and delivering excellent guest experiences.
• No specific previous experience required.
• Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and looking after hotel guests and visitors.
• Supporting reception duties, reservations and guest enquiries.
• Serving food and drinks in the bar and restaurant.
• Assisting with breakfast and dinner service.
• Supporting stargazing events, Dark Skies experiences and seasonal events.
• Selling tickets and refreshments when required.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Collaborating with colleagues across different areas of the business.
• Providing outstanding customer service at all times.
