Job summary

De Vere Wokefield Estate in Mortimer, Reading, is recruiting a Guest Relations Manager to welcome guests and shape memorable experiences. You will liaise with hotel teams to ensure seamless service, meet and greet guests as lobby host, and respond to feedback across channels.

The role is full-time with shifts including early, late and middle hours, and weekend work. Benefits and long-term growth opportunities are provided within a supportive hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering outstanding service ideally from within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to make guests and colleagues feel welcome and build genuine connections.
• Able to motivate others to deliver high standards of service and delegate effectively with an enthusiastic, professional and caring attitude.
• Proficient with IT software; familiarity with Opera would be advantageous, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create memorable experiences across hotel teams, especially Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping.
• Investigate and respond to guest feedback (direct, email or online) and share with relevant team members.
• Act as lobby host to meet and greet guests and answer queries from arrival to departure.
