Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local community. You will drive a Royal Mail van, split duties with walking parts of your route, and provide friendly, reliable service come rain or shine.

You may handle election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards. This role suits someone who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and working flexible shifts. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and carry mailbags up to 16kg.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt to changes on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your community, driving a Royal Mail van and walking portions of your route.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and handle election materials per Royal Mail standards.
• Work outdoors, stay active, and pass a driving assessment at start.
