Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local community, combining van travel with foot rounds. You will be a friendly, reliable face in all weather, ensuring items reach destinations safely and on time.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points, good fitness for walking and lifting, and flexibility to work varied shifts. Training includes a driving assessment at start and you will be part of a team serving

Qualifications

• Driving licence: Full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness: Be prepared to walk long distances and carry bags up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary and require adaptability on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your local area by van and on foot.
• Drive the Royal Mail delivery van as part of your route and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Handle election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail business standards and maintain high service levels.
