Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels in the community. You will drive your round and sometimes walk portions of the route, providing excellent service and ensuring items reach recipients safely.

The role involves delivering election materials and restricted items like food or alcohol in line with standards. Flexibility is required, and you will pass a driving assessment at start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in the community.
• Drive the round, with portions of the route completed on foot.
• Deliver election materials and certain items (e.g., food/alcohol) per standards.
