Job summary

Royal Mail in the United Kingdom is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local community. You will drive a delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot, providing reliable service in all weather.

You will securely deliver all items, including election materials and certain restricted goods, while upholding Royal Mail standards. Flexibility is essential as shifts vary and you will be expected to pass a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and manage a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary; you must be flexible and able to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round, in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and occasionally deliver on foot.
• Handle election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
