Job summary

Isca Recruitment is seeking a proactive Management Accountant for its Exeter office. You will prepare monthly management accounts, perform variance analysis, assist budgeting and forecasting, and support payroll submissions as part of a dynamic finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with operations to improve reporting and controls while building experience within a growing professional services business.

Qualifications

• Month end duties including journals, reconciliations and management accounts preparation.
• Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables and handling large data sets.
• Proactive, accurate and highly organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variances and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Handle VAT returns and statutory reporting submissions.
• Support payroll data processing and timely payroll journal postings.
• Review and approve purchase invoices and ensure correct coding.
