Job summary

InfiniteCFO is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to support a growing portfolio of clients. You will help maintain client ledgers, produce monthly management accounts and performance dashboards, and identify variances and performance trends with clear explanations.

You’ll be based primarily in our Cheltenham office two days a week, with the option to work remotely from a home-based office and occasional travel for client visits.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualified with at least one year PQE.
• Experience with accounting software Xero or Sage.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to apply AI tools to streamline financial processes and automate recurring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and implement standard processes and automation tools.
• Maintain client general ledgers, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings.
• Prepare management accounts and related schedules.
• Support cash flow forecasting and budgeting for client portfolios.
• Mentor finance assistants and supervise junior staff.
• Identify process improvements and implement agreed changes with clients.
• Collaborate with the wider client service team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
