Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a motivated Financial Accountant in Andover to join the growing finance team. This role focuses on producing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and supporting strategic decision-making with robust financial reporting.

The position offers a hybrid working pattern (3 days on site, 2 from home) and opportunities to contribute to budgeting, VAT returns and year-end processes while developing in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering accurate financial information.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts including P&L and balance sheets.
• Managing month-end activities: accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation.
