Job summary

WSP seeks a growth-focused leader to grow our Roads business within a new sector while handling client-facing, billable work. Location or hybrid arrangements include London, Basingstoke or Cambridge offices and collaboration with regional leadership.

The role requires experience in consultancy across sectors, managing cross-disciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes for public and private clients. You will drive business development and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Champion health, safety and wellbeing culture by leading by example.
• Spend time with clients and partners to build relationships and enhance external profile.
• Lead on business development to bring in new opportunities for WSP.
• Develop a pipeline of opportunities within the dedicated sector.
• Coordinate with leaders to align resources and bid on multidisciplinary work.
• Deliver funding and revenue targets for the region.
• Lead key accounts and client relationships for the sector.
• Participate in tender bids and business development opportunities.
• Agree fees and manage the commercial position on projects.
• Support Regional leadership to deliver regional goals.
• Contribute to regional initiatives and value propositions.
• Provide growth leadership to upskill the team in growth, bidding and management.
• Coordinate deployment of resources to bids and project mobilisation.
• Lead projects to ensure technical quality and timely delivery.
