Job summary

SagePaths Global Education is seeking an experienced Business Operations Director to oversee and strengthen the company’s daily operations, performance management, and strategic planning. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement KPI/OKR frameworks, and coordinate with finance and investors to drive growth.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment within the UK market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Management or related discipline.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency required for business purposes.
• Experience with KPI/OKR systems or performance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities to interpret data.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day business operations and internal processes.
• Develop KPI and OKR frameworks with targets and incentives.
• Monitor performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Manage relationships with channels, education agents, and partners.
• Collaborate with Finance to set revenue targets and budgets.
• Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Coordinate with investors and stakeholders with reports.
• Review contracts and financial documents.
• Improve internal systems, reporting mechanisms, and procedures.
• Undertake other strategic responsibilities.
