Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is seeking an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to lead a busy warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will own daily operations, drive performance, and partner with internal teams and external providers to keep deliveries moving.

The role requires hands-on leadership, with a focus on improving processes, safety, and efficiency as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse, logistics, distribution or operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Experience coordinating transport operations and third‑party providers.
• Practical understanding of health and safety in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Experience working with ERP, warehouse management or logistics systems.
• Confidence using KPIs and operational information to manage performance and make improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, transport and logistics operation, making sure customer orders go out accurately and on time
• Lead and support the operational team, keeping everyone clear on priorities, expectations and what good performance looks like
• Keep a close eye on stock and inventory, making sure goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately
• Work with internal teams and external transport providers to plan deliveries, solve issues and keep things moving
• Take the lead on health and safety across the operation, making sure equipment, processes and working practices remain safe and compliant
• Use KPIs to understand how the operation is performing, spotting issues early and putting improvements in place where needed
• Look for better, simpler ways of working, improving efficiency and ensuring the operation can support the continued growth of the business
