Job summary

Harrison Scott Associates is working with a well-established, family-run print, mailing and fulfilment business to recruit an experienced Sales Director to lead and develop its commercial activity across the South East. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with owners and the senior team, shaping growth and making an impact in a smaller, independent business.

You will develop the sales strategy, nurture key accounts, identify new markets and work hands-on with operations to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
• Strong knowledge of the print industry and/or mailing and fulfilment services.
• Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially focused and entrepreneurial approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales function.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the company’s sales strategy and growth plan.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across print, mailing and fulfilment.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Developing key accounts and maximising opportunities within the existing customer base.
• Identifying new markets, sectors and potential revenue streams.
• Working closely with the operational team to deliver commercially viable solutions.
• Taking ownership of sales performance, pipeline development and revenue growth.
• Representing the business at customer meetings, networking events and industry functions.
• Helping to develop the company’s sales proposition and commercial presence in the marketplace.
