Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing ecommerce and consumer brand to recruit a Marketing Data Analyst. This role reports to the CMO and is the analytical engine behind the marketing team, turning customer, campaign and commercial data into clear actions.

This is not about producing reports for the sake of it; the ideal candidate spots trends, asks the right questions, and explains what the data means for future marketing activity, customer growth and commercial

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in marketing analytics or commercially focused data role.
• Experience in ecommerce/retail/consumer-led environment.
• Strong dashboarding with Looker Studio/Tableau or equivalent.
• Proficiency in GA4, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain marketing dashboards across GA4, Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Own weekly and monthly marketing performance reporting.
• Monitor CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rate and AOV.
• Analyse website traffic, customer behaviour and funnel performance.
• Measure campaign and channel ROI to guide marketing investment.
• Analyse creative performance across paid, organic, social and content channels.
• Provide audience insights to improve targeting and messaging.
• Support A/B and multivariate tests with growth team.
• Identify retention and upsell opportunities.
• Support product and commercial teams with demand and market analysis.
• Present clear recommendations to the CMO and marketing team.
• Improve data quality, tracking and confidence across the business.
