Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Director for an established soft FM business in the North West. You will lead growth from £7m toward £10m-£15m, identifying target sectors, building relationships and managing opportunities from initial discussion to contract award.

You will own public sector tender submissions, write strong proposals, and work with the leadership team to shape the growth strategy while ensuring service delivery capabilities align with sales ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience winning new business within soft FM or commercial cleaning.
• Proven ability to write and manage public sector tenders end-to-end.
• Ability to identify and qualify tender opportunities.
• Produce high quality written tender submissions.
• Understand pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
• Present and pitch to senior decision-makers.
• Negotiate contracts and build senior relationships.
• Develop and manage a realistic new business pipeline.
• Create and implement business development strategies.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure delivery feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Help take an established £7m business toward £10m-£15m turnover.
• Develop a clear BD strategy with leadership to drive growth.
• Identify target sectors and clients and pursue tender opportunities.
