Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy Ltd in London is seeking a Group Reservations Agent for a four-week assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role focuses on managing group bookings and using Opera Cloud in a vibrant hotel environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, be paid weekly at £15 per hour, and join a stylish lifestyle hotel team with modern dining and bars. Immediate availability preferred and previous group booking experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Hotel Group Reservations Agent or similar hospitality role.
• Essential: Experience using Opera Cloud.
• Immediate availability and able to commit to four-week assignment.
• Minimum four-week assignment with potential for permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Manage group bookings from enquiry through departure.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and secure bookings.
• Coordinate group bookings using Opera Cloud and maintain rooming lists and billing details.
• Lead weekly Groups & Events meetings and communicate requirements across departments.
• Maintain records of bookings, amendments, cancellations and contractual obligations.
• Welcome group organisers, support arrivals and resolve on-site requests.
