Job summary

Accor in the United Kingdom seeks a Group Reservations Agent to maximise group sales through expert product knowledge and outstanding service. You will manage group bookings from inquiry to departure, ensuring accurate rooming lists, billing, and special requests while coordinating with Sales and Events teams.

You will support Reservations and Front Office with overflow tasks and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with OPERA cloud will be valued.
• Fluency in English.
• Customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and good organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through product knowledge.
• Offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service to guests.
• Assist guests with group booking requests or changes.
• Support Reservations and Front Office with overflow tasks.
• Manage group reservations from inquiry to departure with accurate rooming lists, billing, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Sales and Events to track blocks, cutoff dates, and pickup status.
• Ensure group blocks are accurate, updating guest names, dates, rates, and billing.
• Maintain reservations system blocks and room assignments.
• Prepare and distribute group resumes and rooming lists to departments.
• Process all charges related to group bookings accurately and on time.
• Respond to inquiries by phone and email promptly and professionally.
• Perform other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors.
