Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in London is seeking a Group Reservations Agent to manage group bookings from enquiry to departure within a stylish hotel environment. This four-week assignment offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate and features weekday hours with weekends free.

Essentials include experience with Opera Cloud and strong organisational and communication skills. Delphi knowledge is a plus, and immediate availability is required to begin the assignment

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Hotel Group Reservations Agent or similar hospitality role.
• Essential: Experience using Opera Cloud.
• Delphi experience would be advantageous.
• Immediate availability with no planned time off that would prevent completing the four-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage group bookings from enquiry through to departure.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings.
• Coordinate group bookings using Opera Cloud with accurate rooming lists and billing.
• Lead weekly Groups & Events meetings and communicate requirements across departments.
• Maintain records of bookings, amendments, cancellations and contracts.
• Welcome group organisers, support arrivals and resolve on-site requests while delivering excellent guest service.

Group Reservations Agent – London | £15 per hour, Monday to Friday, with potential for a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll manage group bookings from the initial enquiry through to departure, ensuring every detail is handled professionally.

• Manage group and event enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and secure bookings
• Coordinate group bookings using Opera Cloud, maintaining accurate rooming lists, billing details and special requests
• Lead weekly Groups & Events meetings and communicate requirements across departments
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, amendments, cancellations and contractual obligations
• Welcome group organisers, support arrivals and resolve on-site requests where required
• Deliver excellent service throughout the guest journey while supporting revenue objectives
