About the Role - The Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financial data across their diverse portfolio. This is a key leadership role that supports strategic decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports to both internal stakeholders and external investors. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in group reporting, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Oversee the consolidation of financial statements and produce accurate group-level reports in line with relevant accounting standards and investor requirements.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary contact for investor communications, collaborating closely with finance teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure complete transparency.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize financial reporting processes and systems, driving continuous improvement through innovation and efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of financial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that supports professional development.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure that all reporting activities adhere to UK GAAP/IFRS standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements, maintaining robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience: Extensive experience in group reporting or a similar financial management role within the hospitality or investor-backed sectors. A proven track record of managing complex financial consolidations and reporting for a multi-entity organization.
• Technical Expertise: Strong command of UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards, with advanced skills in financial modeling and analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems and reporting software.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate detailed financial data into strategic insights.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively articulate financial information to diverse stakeholders, including investors and executive management.
• Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is required.
