Job summary

Robinwood Activity Centres Ltd is seeking an Outdoor Activity Instructor (Group Leader) for our Dobroyd Castle centre in Todmorden. You will lead a 3‑day residential group of KS2 children through adventurous activities and focus on building confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Training is provided; no prior Outdoor Activity Instructor experience is required.

The role offers a permanent, year‑round contract with progression and on‑site meals, plus a structured timetable and supportive management.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
• Confident leading groups of children aged 7–11.
• Positive, enthusiastic and engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of Key Stage 2 children through a range of fun activities during a 3‑day residential course.
• Create engaging sessions and use storytelling to bring activities to life.
• Support wellbeing and teamwork, and help children grow in confidence.
