Job summary

Robinwood Activity Centres is seeking an energetic Outdoor Activity Instructor (Group Leader) to guide Key Stage 2 groups at Barhaugh Hall, near Alston, Cumbria, for a 3-day residential programme. You will lead a range of fun, adventure and themed activities while focusing on confidence-building and teamwork.

The role offers a permanent, year-round contract with a competitive salary, free meals on shift, a house purchase assistance scheme, a profit-related bonus and 12 weeks off per year,

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
• Confident leading groups.
• Natural storyteller or motivator.

We are looking for energetic, outgoing people to join our team as Group Leaders at our Barhaugh Hall centre.

What You Will Be Doing As a Group Leader

Over a 3-day residential course, you will lead a group of key stage 2 children through a range of fun, adventure and themed activities.

But It’s More Than That, You Will

• Build confidence in children aged 7–11
• Encourage teamwork and resilience
• Bring sessions to life through storytelling and energy

No two days are the same, and the impact you make is real.

What You Will Get

• £13.65 per hour (£1,575-£1,625 per month est based on a 30 hours per week contract)
