Job summary

Robinwood Activity Centres in Maes Y Nant near Wrexham is seeking an energetic Group Leader (Outdoor Activity Instructor). Over a 3-day residential course, you will lead a group of key stage 2 children through a range of fun, adventure and themed activities.

No prior Outdoor Activity Instructor experience is needed—we provide training. This permanent, year-round role includes meals on shift, progression opportunities, and a supportive team that helps children grow in confidence while having fun.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
• Confident leading groups.
• Natural storyteller or motivator.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of KS2 children through a range of activities during a 3‑day residential course.
• Build confidence, teamwork and resilience while keeping sessions engaging.
• Ensure safety, supervision and smooth delivery of activities.

We are looking for energetic, outgoing people to join our team as Group Leaders (Outdoor Activity Instructors) at our Maes Y Nant centre.

What you will be doing as a Group Leader (Outdoor Activity Instructor):

Over a 3-day residential course, you will lead a group of key stage 2 children through a range of fun, adventure and themed activities.

What You Will Get

• £13.45 per hour (increasing to £13.85 per hour following successful completion of a 6-month probation period)

What we are looking for
