Robinwood Activity Centres Ltd is seeking an Outdoor Activity Instructor (Group Leader) for our Dobroyd Castle centre in Todmorden. You will lead a 3‑day residential group of KS2 children through adventurous activities and focus on building confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Training is provided; no prior Outdoor Activity Instructor experience is required.

The role offers a permanent, year‑round contract with progression and on‑site meals, plus a structured timetable and supportive management.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
• Confident leading groups of children aged 7–11.
• Positive, enthusiastic and engaging personality.

We are looking for energetic, outgoing people to join our team as Group Leaders (Outdoor Activity Instructors) at our Dobroyd Castle centre.

What you will be doing as a Group Leader (Outdoor Activity Instructor):

Over a 3-day residential course, you will lead a group of key stage 2 children through a range of fun, adventure and themed activities.

But it’s more than that, you will:

• Build confidence in children aged 7–11
• Encourage teamwork and resilience
• Bring sessions to life through storytelling and energy

No two days are the same, and the impact you make is real.

• £13.45 per hour (increasing to £13.85 per hour following successful completion of a 6-month probation period)

Training & Development
