The Company

My client is an exciting and high growth recruitment agency, focusing on supporting businesses to find experts across multiple STEM industry disciplines globally.

They are looking to hire a Group FC to work as number two to the CFO and take over management responsibility of a team of 8+ heads. This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager or FC with solid management experience from either the recruitment industry or other fast-paced industries like wholesale, retail or professional services.

The role is fundamental in managing the production of monthly management accounts, day-to-day cash management, and the production of annual statutory financial accounts for the group and its subsidiaries and tax filings. Liaising with the auditors – both group and overseas to ensure all audits are completed in a timely manner, and with tax advisors to ensure local compliance is maintained.

As Group FC, you will be responsible for:

• Monthly Management Accounts
• Corporation Tax
• Other Taxes
• Intercompany Journals & Intercompany Loan Accounts
• Financial Accounts & Group Consolidation

• Credit Line Reconciliations
• Cashflow Forecasting & Budgeting Forecasts

What we are looking for

• Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Accounting Degree or similar
• 5+ years in a finance department
• Management experience of a team of 8-12 heads
• International business and currency experience
• Experience in a £100-300m turnover business with 250-500 employees
