This client is a growing success story based just off Deansgate, Manchester City Center. Their growth has exceeded projections, and they have an immediate need for new talent within the organisation.

Job Description

Currently, the client is ahead of forecasted growth. While positive, they recognize the need for a talented individual to lead the finance function to capitalize on this momentum. The hire of a Financial Controller is a foundational role, with a fast track to a Board seat.

Key Responsibilities

• Control all reporting to Board and manage budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and statutory accounts.
• Oversee advertising spend.
• Review reporting from all business units and liaise with them.
• Identify opportunities for growth and divestment.
• Communicate effectively with Senior Management and the Group.
• Develop financial and management reporting processes.
• Manage departmental and organizational budgets.
• Standardize budget submission templates.
• Manage statutory accounts and the audit process.
• Lead key projects, reports, and investigations.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Experience in budgeting and statutory accounts.
• Experience implementing controls, systems, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Salary & Benefits

• £58,500 - £66,000 salary.
